I am not following any specific guide. I am just trying to replace OUR OWN input fields with STRIPE components

Ah gotcha, I thought there was some splicing together. So just using our card element or payment sheet and that is getting the crash?

Yes that is correct. I just have the CardNumberTextInputLayout and inside CardNumberEditText

Just sharing the lines where our SDK is directly being used would be helpful, if that is considered less sensitive to share for you. I'll look to see if there are GH issues around this. Otherwise the best thing to do now may be to tackle those gradle issues so you can test our sample app

Yep you can share code here. It is a public server, so keep out API keys and secrets, but its safe to share Stripe SDK code

Gotcha, and I'm not finding other reports of this type of crash at the moment so I don't have other leads on what to try at the moment
