Hi! I don't think you still can do that any more - that was deprecated a long time ago. I can't currently find the docs that say as much though.
You could move your custom customer ID into metadata though.

I just tested and it looks like the parameter is still there. You may need to make the request with a custom param. Finding the doc on that

In node I think you can just provide the id param and we will send it, but you may need to add a typescript ignore for the line so that you don't get warnings
