๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹

The second payment intent was created in CAD in this request but the funds were converted to USD because that is the settlement currency of your US platform.

What's the settlement currency of the GB platform?

You can see that in the associated balance transaction here: txn_3RH3WBLzjB3g7c9J0EwKPktR

#

The balance transaction associated with the first Payment Intent remained in EUR txn_3RH1mCEgzFUNzGPc18JHiBqO

Yeah, why?

#

The GB platform only has a GB bank account added

Unfortunately, that isn't something I can answer here as it has more to do with how US vs GB accounts are configured. I recommend reaching out to Stripe Support for more details about why that is the case.

Damn, I've found lately that waiting on Stripe normal support to get back to us is about as efficient as waiting for Christmas. Thanks anyway.

Yeah I understand that.

#

Unfortuntaely, the reason we're able to maintain this Discord server is that we are narrowly focused on integrations with Stripe APIs. This means we can get right up to the limits of what we can help with and then we're out of our depth pretty quick.

Makes sense. I just wish the normal support channels were better. We pay ยฃ600k a year to Stripe and feel like that's worth nothing to them. Anyways, not a 'you' problem!

We do wind up looking at support cases that have come through normal Stripe support. I fully acknowledege that we could be MUCH better at this. But I would also recommend a couple things when writing in to Support

  • Identify the 1 problem you need help with and keep your case focused on that
  • Provide clear and crips details, preferably in lists formats

The more clearly scoped your case, the more likely you are to get a complete answer. I know this isn't a "you" problem either but I think these approaches can help get you a bette response

I'll bear that in mind
