granted, im not fully sure its /required/ by law to verify with bankid during purchases, but i havent done a purchase online in years without doing it myself. So it might just be that you dont use it at all
I think after researching further on their resources, it might seem like its not required, but rather an optional way of identifying if i want extra security. So this probably has nothing to do with stripe after all, thanks alot anyways tho!

From what I can see Bank ID in Norway is used to back implementations of 3DS which is how that may come up here https://docs.stripe.com/payments/3d-secure
