Hi, let me help you with this.

#

Are you using Payment Element? Or Stripe-hosted Checkout?

feral zinc
#

strip hosted checkout

#

do you want me to provide any account related information so you can look into it ?

snow spoke
#

Could you please share an example Checkout Session URL?

snow spoke
#

Could you generate a Stripe Checkout Session for me, please?
I won't be able to verify my email on your site.

feral zinc
#

how do I do that

#

i mean i can give you an email and provide the otp

#

if you want

#

i dont think you can checkout without an email

snow spoke
#

You can just go through the flow yourself, and copy the Checkout Session URL when it's generated and share with me.

feral zinc
#

can you see this ?

#

I am at the end of the checkout process

#

are you still there

snow spoke
#

It's the same link you shared before. I still need to verify my own email

#

Maybe you have a test email I could use?

feral zinc
#

This is going to be difficult.

#

To take a step back. Could you please share a screenshot of where you expect Apple Pay to show?

vernal crypt
#

Hey there, stepping in for vanya who need to step way. i can help you with this.

#

I tried the email you provided and the OTP was not accepted

#

I think what vanya suggested will be more practical, you exercise the flow and then share the checkout session id

feral zinc
#

how do I share the checkout session id ?

vernal crypt
#

You can get that either from the URL (address bar) or near the top of the Checkout page element tree. It looks like cs_test_12345 (or cs_live_12345 in live mode).

#

But again as vanya said, a screenshot showing where you expect to see apple pay would be helpful too

feral zinc
#

here I am expecting apple pay

vernal crypt
#

Ok, so this is Payment Element in your own checkout flow, not Stripe-hosted Checkout as you indicated earlier.

#

You appear to be using Chrome, and I see Google Pay presented in payment element

#

Have you tried this in Safari?

#

On desktop, Apple Pay will only ever appear in Payment Element in Safari.

feral zinc
#

ok

#

let me give that a try

#

so apple pay just wont work with payment element ?

vernal crypt
#

I didn't say that -- I said on desktop you need to use Safari

#

Apple Pay won't show up in Payment Element in chrome on desktop, no.

feral zinc
#

ok got it

#

thanks

#

it still does not show up in safari

#

heres what it displays on safari

#

what do you suspect the issue is then ?

You may not have your apple pay wallet set up fully

#

If you don't see Apple Pay in the preview there, your browser/wallet are not set up and will never appear for payment element in your integration

feral zinc
#

I have set up my Apple Pay on my phone and I just visited safari and it still doesn’t work

#

I tested with your tool and I can see Apple Pay

#

In payment element mode

Can you complete a test mode payment and share the payment intent ID? pi_123
