๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

hello! There's no "copy" feature if that's what you're asking, you'll need to do it from scratch again

I've never done it, it was set up by someone who left the company - I'm happy to do it manually, but I'm having trouble finding the details of the configuration as far as what events were selected for each webhook

#

I believe we have several different webhooks configured

#

They need to be exactly the same

#

this is the one with them all set up

#

they're all linked to Workato recipes which we then connect to Workday Prism

#

I'd like to do it exactly the way we did it before as I'm not a developer

#

and we're using an IPAAS software that works with the webhooks

#

but if that is the best way I will pass this on to our integration team.

#

Is there a way to export what we were calling so we can easily recreate?

#

Or that's what you're saying above?

indigo grotto
#

That's what I was saying above. I think you have no choice but to use the API really. To clarify why, your application is currently using Java which is a strongly typed language - the API version set for webhooks must match the version used in the SDK. Ensuring these versions match is crucial for the successful deserialization of the event object.

you will need to create the webhook via the API if you want to explicitly define a version : https://docs.stripe.com/api/webhook_endpoints/create#create_webhook_endpoint-api_version. Itโ€™s not possible to do so via the Dashboard.

#

got it. I think. I'll work with the integration team on the api's which is beyond my skill set.

indigo grotto
#

but maybe i'm mistaken and your application isn't processing the webhooks using Stripe's Java SDK, and instead is routing this to another application where the API version doesn't matter

quasi kestrel
#

I think the latter is true

indigo grotto
#

best to check with your developers

quasi kestrel
#

unfortunately a lot of this knowledge was lost recently

indigo grotto
#

well, i mean, it'll probably pop out as an error ๐Ÿ˜… when you try to process your webhook and it doesn't work. The SDK typically throws an error saying the API version is different

quasi kestrel
#

my question is what is in the webhook

indigo grotto
quasi kestrel
#

so when I go to select events, which events do I select, to make it the same events as the Nextdoor US1 webhook

indigo grotto
#

you can hover over the listening for and you'll see this

quasi kestrel
#

I don't see the listening for

#

oh listening to?

#

Aha! I think we're onto something.

#

thank you so so much!

indigo grotto
#

ah yeah, listening to, sorry about that
