But I would point out that you can't have a Subscription without a Customer. If you don't provide a Customer id when you create a Checkout Session in Subscription mode, we will create one for you

If you want to use test clocks, you'll need to create a Customer and associate the customer with a test clock, as described here: https://docs.stripe.com/billing/testing/test-clocks/api-advanced-usage?dashboard-or-api=api
