Ho about regular apple pay tap on the terminal M2

little fox
#

You can use wallet cards via terminal to pay for one time payments, yes

#

But not for setup intents

#

and they don't work with setup_future_usage

#

There is a preview feature for exceptions for some MCCs if you your business qualifies:

It says "Recurrent Yes"

But anyways, no problem, I understand is a limitation. Since I cannnot use setup intend, is the tapping apple phone (apple pay) work as a regular card moreover not needing to do anything extra ?

#

just reminding you I am talking about M2 terminal integration and usage. Most of time I come here people basically ignores M2 because looks like is rarely used, at least not heavily used like other ways... and M2 documentation is far away from what I can find for other methods

The limitation around saving for later is specific to Terminal payments / card_present

hallow mica
#

ok

#

How about my last question: Is apple pay payment on a M2 terminal a non-extra set up thing. Is it going through like a regular card present ? Do I need to do something extra ?

#

how can I test it using simulator ?

hallow mica

cool, thank you

I was able to confirm that you can’t test Apple Pay. I will add your feedback to support this functionality in the future. Thank you

ok, got, just tell me, Apple Pay tap would be transparent ? like, not changes on the backend of front end required ?

#

if so, I understand whey there is no testing availability on testing terminal
