Okay so there's a high chance that code is wrong. But with respect to Google Pay and the Express Checkout Element, the front-end code is what matters.

We can't debug your code here but you'd need to ensure that you're implementing the exact same way as this integartion path: https://docs.stripe.com/elements/express-checkout-element/accept-a-payment. Specifically, this part: https://docs.stripe.com/elements/express-checkout-element/accept-a-payment?client=react#submit-the-payment

Please review the above documents and ensure that it looks exactly the same
