👋 Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

🔗 This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1354715602366759052

Hi there, it's entirely up to you.

#

You don't need to store the price/product data unless your application really needs a local copy of it.

This is something that you need to discuss with your developer

ok

#

what is difference between these stripe.subscriptions.create and stripe.checkout.sessions.create mode subscription

placid lily
#

Sure, they are two different ways of subscription integration

  • a subscription mode Checkout session will create a subscription indirectly, and the checkout page will help you to collect the payment method from the customer and use it for recurring payments
  • you can use stripe.subscriptions.create API to create a subscription directly. However you'll need to collect the payment method by yourself (i.e., through PaymentElement). This integration is more advanced and requires more dev efforts
#

I'll recomend you to go with Checkout session first
