Hello are you using payment intents or setup intents to save the payment method here? There is a generated_sepa_debit field that you can get off of a property on setup intents, I think payment intents have a way to get that too but am not immediately remembering
https://docs.stripe.com/payments/ideal/set-up-payment?platform=web&payment-ui=elements#charge-sepa-pm
Gotcha, also found the other field https://docs.stripe.com/api/charges/object#charge_object-payment_method_details-sofort-generated_sepa_debit
Stripe Invoices does
Right, that still works the same here. So basically for payments (anything with a payment intent) you want the generated_sepa_debit on the charge from their latest_charge field. For setup intents you want the generated_sepa_debit field from the latest_attempt field on the intent. You can get these by retrieving the charge/attempt themself or you can get them while retrieving the intent by using expansion
In this scenario, would this be the the intent of the iDEAL payment?
As that is what is triggers the sepa payment method to be created.
Correct, exactly
