Hi there
Hey, I've just found out that the question was sent incomplete. I'm sorry about that. I meant:
I'm trying to register a new reader to an specific location. I'm getting that error code but I'm not able to find any place where the reader is added. I do have the order confirmation as a proof that I own that reader
This is the reader id:
WSC513208056306
https://dashboard.stripe.com/terminal/hardware_orders/thor_1Qhi6KBsYzIqHjobozReXqz3
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Are you able to try one of these sets of steps instead? https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/fleet/register-readers#order-number
Still having the same problem
Invalid param: device_uuid, found: WSC513208056306, Reader with serial number WSC513208056306 is already registered to another merchant and cannot be registered by serial number until it is deregistered.
The reader does appear in the "All registerable readers from order thor_1Qhi6KBsYzIqHjobozReXqz3" page tho
No rush! Thanks
Alright, that error message is indeed correct. This reader does appear to be registered to a different Stripe account.
I can't share more about that specific account here so I recommend reaching out to our Support team about this for assistance: https://support.stripe.com/contact/
Okay, thank you! Then why does the reader appears in the registerable readers page?
I believe that's because that reader was placed under that specific hardware order
