Hi 👋
WHen you say "free subscription", what do you mean? Are you going to have a free tier and then charge after a certain amount of usage or have a Price or Prices that have absolutely no cost?

By free subscription, I mean that it will be free until the user decides to pay for it. My idea is that when the user signs up for my app, they'll start with a free subscription without asking for payment information. And when they need tokens, they can purchase them with the subscriptions.
Like ChatGPT, Bolt.new, etc

Okay. So for a Subscription to be created, you need to specify a Price with a recurring billing period. Even if the amount is $0, we will still generate Invoices on that period. They will just be marked paid automatically.
Is that the UX you are looking for?

I don't want to generate invoices for users with free subscriptions. hum I think it would be better to handle free subscriptions with my own logic in my app hehe

In that case it would make sense to simply track your users in your application and then use Stripe when you want to process payments.
