just an fyi I also pass options.paymentMethodCreation = 'manual'

what I do on the front end:

  • I get a client secret from my BE
  • create confirmation token
  • confirm the payment intent using that token

everything seems to work fine for the saved credit cards token tho

but doesn't work for the new card, when I use Payment element form

Can you share an example confirmation request ID that encounters this error?

Note that the capture method you set when initializing elements needs to match what you set when creating the payment intent
