I'm a developer looking to make sure that our code handling these delete requests is doing everything that it needs to do.
Right, but I can't speak to any aspect of GDPR compliance. I can answer questions about the API itself, but I can't tell you anything about the GDPR side of things.
Stripe support and the folks who reply to the email mentioned in the support article should be able to assist.

I honestly don't know. I am not familiar with GDPR compliance, what the requirements are, or if we have APIs in place to handle it. Stripe support will be able to help you with those questions.
It sounds like short term we may need to trigger an email send to Stripe. I'm going to put in a request for an API to handle this. Thanks for your help!
