If it's not possible to remove, what are the implications of leaving it? Is it only used when applicaton_fee is not null?
Mainly my boss wants to not have any ongoing liability or involvement with the connected account's subscriptions going forward. If this is just vestigial, that should be fine, but if it hsa other ramifications, I need to identify them. We'll need to figure out how to remove without disrupting service to the ongoing member subscriptions as we deprecate our platform
We will be disconnecting all the accounts soon. So I assume it won't have much affect on anything. But I need confirmation to ease his concern.
If you're shutting down the platform, you can remove the connected accounts if they have full access to the Stripe Dashabord [0]

right, but what i want is to know about the reference to the platform on each subscription. and what the implications are and if i can delete it.
the context is we will eventually remove all connected accounts, but the question is about the application id. (For legal purposes primarily). I'd like to remove it if possible, but the api rejects that field being changed
This is going to need a deeper investigation, I'm going to trigger a flow that will have our bot send you a DM to create a support ticket that will come right to our team
