Can you share a bit more about your business use case? What are you really trying to achieve?

So we have something like calendar and you can spend some credits on events then when subscription is active. But sometimes we need sell someone subscription that started in the past and he also can spend this points on events in the past. Points recharge every biling interval. We rely current_period_start to determine if user can use credits on that event - check if subscription is/was active. But it seems like we have to move to start date of subscrition.
