OK, I think it's because of your settings here. You have it set to cancel the sub when all retries fail and, as we don't support SEPA Debit retries, the initial payment failure constitutes a cancellation

I confirm that the Subscripion was cancelled because the payment failed. But I don't get why the PaymentIntent is now in a processing state.

And one more question, if a SEPA fails it will automatically cancel the sub no matter what ? Is it possible to test it in staging with one of the sepa card ?

Because I feel like if the behavior was common we would have seen more of our customers in this case
