đ Welcome to your new thread!

âąď¸ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

Which API field are you referencing?
There's no shipping field on the Checkout Session obj: https://docs.stripe.com/api/checkout/sessions/object
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
There was in version 2020-03-02 https://docs.stripe.com/upgrades#2022-08-01
Are you confusing it with payment_intent.* events: https://docs.stripe.com/api/payment_intents/object#payment_intent_object-shipping
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
It was since renamed to shipping_details
I can clearly see the shipping field in my events from feb 27th
Appreciate your patience whilst we investigate!
Any reason why you're reliant on nullish fields? We're fixing, but shipping_details will be present if there's actually an address collected
In the example you shared, there's no address collected
(shipping_address_collection is null)
My ruby code did return unless event.data.object.shipping Now it does return unless event.data.object.try(:shipping)
Hmm, ok. Well we're working on a fix
Is shipping missing on all api_versions? Or just 2020-03-02?
