But I don't know how to specifically unrequest custom branding on BACS direct debit

I would like someone at Stripe to show me, since the last time I was given advice on how to enable BACS direct debit, there was no mention I would then be charged £50 per account for a setting I didnt even know existed

That document shows how to make that request

To unrequest a capability for an account, set the capability’s requested value to false by updating the account.

So you'd make an API call, https://docs.stripe.com/api/accounts/update#update_account-capabilities-bacs_debit_payments and set that to false

Our documents just say it is disabled if you do not use them: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/payment-methods/bacs-debit#custom-branding

And we document 'Alternatively, if you have no active Bacs Debit mandates you can revert to the default Stripe branding in your Bacs Direct Debit settings.'

Are you not seeing a way to revert by following the above document? Can you try please?
