Paying the most recent non-voided invoice before its due date updates the subscription status to active.
Let's take an example for a gym membership, if I stopped paying for my membership.. I would not be allowed to use the gym. If I'm not going to the gym beacuse I have not been paying why should I have to pay? If I decided to come back on month 5, I would pay for month 5 and my membership would be active. I would not want to pay for the months where I did not pay.
Yeah I understand but we are giving nearly 1 month time for the customer to pay his overdue invoice. If he does not pay it we are deactivating the access to our system but are still issuing an invoice as he could still use the system in the last month
I am from Germany and here in the B2B environment that is quite common to handle it in that way
