Hi there
I believe the basic issue is that txi_1QtzU7C7hUs4wr8n12kA0B9k is an object which exists on the platform account acct_1HMGRxC7hUs4wr8n. Let me check on the right way to do this
oh that makes some sense. I had it set with the connected account as the owner, so I assumed it would work.
If the correct way is to create the tax_id on the connected account, I'm not sure how to go about that. We use embedded components for our sellers to set up their tax settings but as far as I know there isn't one where they can set their ids?
I think the guide you need is here: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/invoices#account-tax-ids
You just need to use the Stripe-Account header when you create the tax id
No problem! I think if this were available for the Tax settings compnent you would want to look here: https://docs.stripe.com/api/account_sessions/create#create_account_session-components-tax_settings-features
