I am not aware of the exact reason why the feedback doesn't appear immediately. Perhaps this card number can be used for some test purposes.
ok, if so, is there a way to force the UI to show an error for it?
No, there's no way to customize this behavior.
The customer would still see an error when they submit though.
But even after submitting the form, the card number field does not turn red. The user has no indication that the number is invalid, so I have to notify them in a different way
