if the status of the subscription is canceled, then no you can't reactivate it. you would need to create a new subscription.
Is it possible to change the subscription status setting in manage failed payments to pause the subscription in case of failure of all retires of retry schedule in stripe dashboard?
So that I can resume the subscription if a user wants to reactivate their subscription

Oh. Which option is preferred if a user hasn't paid for couple of months and he tries to pay after 3 months, in this case the subscription could be set to active and his most recent unpaid invoice for the subscription ?
this is a very specific scenario you are describing, so there's no built in option for this. that's something that you'll need to build yourself.
