We take all payments to our Stripe account and then pay out to our users from our end (not using Stripe connect accounts).
well, that sounds the perfect use case for Stripe Connect and connected accounts
Is there an upper limit to the amount of payment method domains we can register with you?
no limits, no.

Yes. We've considered connected accounts before and even built out a prototype using them. For various reasons its not for us right now but are aware of them at least!
