๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1339335409611833376

Sorry, it was Affirm, not Klarna that I tried, if it makes a difference.

Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹ is An unexpected error occurred the extent of the error message you're seeing?

Yeah, unfortunately ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Have you been able to add logging and step through your code to figure out exactly what line leads to that error being surfaced? So we know roughly what is going on when the error is encountered.

๐Ÿ‘‹ stepping in here as toby needs to step away

#

Are you using the intent-first or deferred-intent Payment Element approach?

terse scaffold
#

Hm, my guess is its happening during an element.update call but I'll double check my assumption

rugged garnet

I believe deferred

#

ahhh

#

That'll do it

rugged garnet
#

Yeah unfortunately ACSS and Blik just aren't supported yet on deferred

terse scaffold
#

I'll double check with my team that I'm correct about the deferred thing (running a little under the weather today) but if they confirm we can wrap up

#

Cool, I think we can wrap up. If you have any inkling of when ACSS might be available for deferred flows, that would be super useful to know, otherwise, have a great day. ๐Ÿ™‚

Unfortunately I don't know of any particular timeline.

#

Understandable. Have a great one.

rugged garnet
#

You too!

Hey just wanted to ask, its totally reasonable that there isn't a timeline, but is my understanding correct that eventually this should be supported and this is not some hard limit where we can never have this payment method available if you have a deferred flow?

rugged garnet

I'd think so but I really don't know what the limitation is involving ACSS / Blik in deferred-intent. If you want more specifics on that and any potential timeline then you could reach out to our Support team via https://support.stripe.com/contact/login and they would correspond internally to be able to provide more info on that.
