invoice_pdf is generated when you finailize the Invoice. You can easily check that yourself in Test mode when you finalize the Invoice and look at the invoice_pdf field on the Invoice object.

I suppose it is already generated on the server because I already have a URL, but my client want to be 100% sure

I would always suggest trusting your own real-world tests, rather than what an expert says 😉
