Hi river,
I'm checking to see if there's anything I should be aware of for updating a subscription between the two methods:
- via the Dashboard by removing one product and adding another
- via the API by updating the existing Subscription Item

No significant functional difference comes off the top of my head. I'd recommend testing thoroughly to check whether both meet your business requirements
