Hi, are you saying that instead of using Dokan or WooCommerce, you'd like to directly integrate with Stripe? Or, are you saying you'd want to use those but need help setting that up?
I'd like to use Dokan and WooCommerce presently. We do have a long-term plan to develop our own marketplace solution that doesn't rely on plugins, but for the time being we are focusing on the tools we have available to us.
And that means WooCommerce, and the Dokan subscription that our investor paid for because it was cheaper than shelling out thousands for a developer to it properly for what is, for all intents and purposes, currently a prototype
Ah, in that case you'd want to reach out to those connectors as they built this. We won't have any exposure on how they built this
I think maybe you're misunderstanding
I built this
I used WordPress and plugins, and tried to set up everything myself for the WooCommerce and Dokan configurations. I connected Stripe, enabled Stripe Connect, and now I see that when someone tries to buy a subscription they have two different Stripes available.
One for Stripe to us, and one that's Stripe Connect, also to us.
Hi hi! Jumping in for my colleague; give me a moment.
Ah, ok. Thank you.
I think this is what you're looking for: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/subscriptions#customer-connected-account
I don't believe so. Dokan Pro allows people to set up subscriptions to gain permission to sell on the platform and gain access to the various tools that Dokan comes with. So in terms of building the subscriptions themselves and turning them into purchasable products, that's covered.
The problems I'm encountering are at the checkout step, where I see more than one version of Stripe available.
I don't know if I should be manually blocking one in WordPress, changing my registration on Stripe to put my company under Stripe Connect beneath the umbrella of...my own company, or what.
Dokan and WooCommerce have been completely unhelpful on this topic.
Gotcha, you're trying to figure out how to put together existing tools with Stripe Connect to do this. I misunderstood before.
I think this will point you in the right direction: https://dokan.co/docs/wordpress/modules/how-to-install-and-configure-dokan-stripe-connect/
