Hello! According to https://docs.stripe.com/api/invoices/object#invoice_object-subtotal

Total of all subscriptions, invoice items, and prorations on the invoice before any invoice level discount or exclusive tax is applied. Item discounts are already incorporated

Since you applied the discount at the Invoice Item, it's expected that it's included as the subtotal

Oh, if I need to exclude out the discount from subtotal. Then I need to define in this field total_discount_amounts ?

I think you'll want to pass it in https://docs.stripe.com/api/invoices/upcoming#upcoming_invoice-discounts only instead
