Hi ๐
Business name description is not what you need to provide. You need to provide a product description. Is this something you are doing through the onboarding UI? Can you share a screenshot of the validation error you receiving?
To b e clear, we are talking about the product_description or the url that includes details about what good/service the account will provide.
The former.
Yeah, where are you providing that?
Please show me the specific form where you are inputing this information
I'm setting business_profile.product_description to 'plumbing services' and the url to null when creating an account. However I still get the 'Your website' prompt on the right.
I read that I can provide a social media link instead of a website.
I'm hoping I can avoid providing a website for individuals and sole proprietorship.
But if it's required then that's cool too.
Hmmm.... honestly this keeps changing so I'm not 100% sure what we accept ๐
That's okay. For my app I'm gathering all details in the app and sending them to Stripe. It takes time to onboard a business so they can do it incrementally in the app and then submit all data in one fell swoop.
That makes sense to me.
It's just asking for a website for an individual and I don't think every small business owner has social media or whatnot.
Okay. Then I guess I can sell them a website if they want. ๐
You can always use your platform website
Sure thing, happy to shed what ๐ก I can ๐
