i don't know the answer offhand, let me do some digging

it's been a bit since i've looked at this, but reviewing our docs it looks like the tab icon has its own selector as the TabIcon, so i think you might want to target that instead of the .Tab? but to be frank CSS is not my specialty and now that i'm thinking about this i don't think that will work with hover quite the way you want it to

Thanks for your help! I understand, no worries—I'll wait. In the meantime, I'll keep trying different solutions, and if I manage to get it working, I'll let you know.
That said, I've already tried a few approaches, and I haven't found a simple solution yet. If you have any insights when you get the chance, I'd really appreciate it.

fwiw i also have not been able to get it to work yet 😅 i might need to consult a colleague. it's possible i'm missing something silly here or that there's a bug at play. i would be surprised if we intentionally restricted this
