Hi! MKE stands for Manual Key Entry. Basically if the terminal isn't able to take swipe/tap for some reason, it would fallback to manual entry so the clerk can manually enter the card details

So there's two types of manual entry transactions being asked about here.

MKE is on the Stripe terminal and we need a way to prompt for it. For example, if a customer walks in with a damaged chip, we would like a way to trigger manual entry on the terminal so they can manually type the card details.

And then there's MOTO which stands for mail order telephone order. Basically it's card not present but it's specifically manual entry, usually for over the phone orders where the card number is being collected and entered manually.
