Hi ๐ sorry, I don't think I understand what you're trying to ask. Would you mind elaborating on what you're trying to accomplish?
Are you asking how to shift the billing_cycle_anchor, at a point in the future, for an existing Subscription?
https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/subscription-schedules/use-cases#resetting-anchor
https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/subscription-schedules/use-cases#existing-subscription
Hey Toby, maybe? I need to basically charge an amount in between resetting a billing cycle from February - February to June - June. The months of Feb 8th - May 31st need to be billed and I don't know how to manage the subscription to bill that amount.
So you want to generate a one-off Invoice for that time?
Yes
But I need the subscription to keep going so they still have access to the application.
Is this a flow you're trying to build into your product, or something you're doing one off for one customer? Did you try to accomplish this flow in testmode and run into problems?
I'm hoping it's more one-off. I don't want to build it into the product. I am happy with doing the manual work in Stripe for now and just documenting the process.
I didn't know the best way to set it up to test it.
Depending on how you're trying to accomplish this, it may be a better question for our Support team. We specialize in helping developers understand and work with our API to build the flows they're trying to. If you're looking for a more dashboard-oriented solution, our Support team is likely better suited to help:
