hello! gimme a few minutes to think about this!

#

hmmmm, for context, we aren't really familiar with betas on this channel so you may need to test things out to see if what I suggest works. I see that there's a PaymentIntent id on the invoice.updated event, I'm not sure if every time the customer pays, a new / different PaymentIntent id is provided. If yes, how about...upon receipt of this event, retrieve the PaymentIntent, which will give you the corresponding charge id?

So this looks like it's a seperate paymentIntent Id and this is what I currently use to complete the transfer after the remaining balance is paid.
It looks like a different paymentIntent is only used for the invoice deposit.

I just made another test invoice and only paid the deposit.
Here is the deposit paymentIntent Id, as well as the paymentIntent Id that's on the invoice respectively:

"pi_3Qn9ZcL9XGXfVuTv19cjLsQA"

i can't think of a way to achieve what you're looking for based off my limited knowledge of this beta right now. I think it's probably best for you to write in and the team who's more familiar with this beta will be able to better advise you. Sorry that I can't be of more help
