Hi there ๐ I see you're setting the country for the Account when you create them.
https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_48HPfBnWe0RkcD
In testmode, are you able to update the country during the onboarding process if you don't specify the country when creating the Account?
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Ahh ok - I can't edit the country in test mode either
It comes up like this
When I click edit on the side of 'business details'
How do I undo the fact the country is set for everyone?
You can't update the country once it's set.
https://support.stripe.com/questions/stripe-account-country-can-t-be-changed-after-activation
You have to make sure your users are able to select it during onboarding.
If the Connected Accounts were created in the wrong country. You'll need to:
- Test out the revised flow and ensure it allows your users to select their country within the onboarding flow.
- Create new Connected Accounts for the impacted users and have them complete the onboarding process again.
Thanks! Taking a look ๐
Looks like I will have to create an account for her and delete her current account
Any time! Yup, as far as I'm aware, that's the only way to handle this.
If there is another way, that is something our Support team would be more familiar with than I am. I don't think there is for this case, but if you want to confirm you can reach out to them here:
