Hi, let me help you with this.
it is showing Mar 27 in next invoice
Which field you mean exactly?
This in next billing
I think this is related to prebilling. If the end date is set, I am sure this Mar 27 Invoice won't materialize.
But the upcoming invoice is also showing Mar 27
What about the period between feb 28 to march 27 then.
I have passed end date to feb 27
Oh, actually. The problem is end_bahavior=release. The last SubscriptionSchedule phase will end, and the Subscription will just continue in the state it is at that moment. So this is expected.
If you want to cancel the Subscription completely when SubscriptionSchedule phases come to an end, set end_behavior=cancel.
No, my question is not this.
My question is why the upcoming invoice is showing Mar 27.
I have not passed mar 27 anywhere. You can check logs also.
AS it is set as mar 27 what about the period between feb 28 to march 27 then.
what about the period between feb 28 to march 27 then.
What do you expect to happen exactly?
The next billing should be set to feb 28 instead of march 27.
I think I understand what you mean:
Basically, prebilling should have been applied to Jan 27 - Feb 27, and not Feb - Mar, right?
yes , prebilling should have been applied to Jan 27 - Feb 27. But it was applied correctly when created subscrption but when I updated the subscription start date , the prebilling details have not been updated.
And, I don't know how next invoice is then showing march 27 instead of feb 27.
You're right, not sure where the Feb - Mar Invoice is gone...
Weirdly enough, Billed in advance has dates of Jan 30 - Feb 28, which seems quite arbitrary.
hi! I'm taking over this thread.
When I created the subscription, I have taken prebilling invoice to 1.
Then by this, it set the billed in advance to jan 30 as my start date was jan 30. Then I updated the phase start date to 27th.
looks like you are using prebilling, which is not a public feature and we don't know much about how it works here on Discord. so I recommend directly asking Stripe support about this: https://support.stripe.com/contact
