There's no plan to deprecate Tokens API yet, but I'd highly recommend you using the new SetupIntents API

IF anybody is to use tokens, Let's say they create a token and ask us to create a method and attach it to an existing customer, we can go ahead with Stripe::Customer.create_source(customer.stripe_customer_id, { source: card_token }) right?

It should work but it's not the recommended way as informed by my colleague earlier.
