Hmmm a restricted key would be one way to do that, yes. The other option is to have them be a Connected Account and then you can charge those PaymentMethods on their account.

but if we desire to be the merchant of record, the connected account would not work, correct?

actually nm. That would require us to setup the oauth flow. seems restricted key is most simple. thanks

Hi 👋

I'm stepping in as my colleague had to go. The "oauth method" is how you would use Stripe Connect to connect to existing Stripe Accounts.
