For metered billing here the only way to know how much the customer would be charged is indeed using the upcoming Invoice endpoint.
I'm not aware of there being extreme latency there in terms of if you retrieve the upcoming Invoice after recording a Meter Event...
yeah, there is a few minutes delay... it's unusable for my purpose at this stage.
