Hello, we really don't know much about the Dashboard as we just focus on the API so I really don't know how that Dashboard chart is calculated.

My recommendation would be what you already tried -- list active Subscriptions.

If you want more info about that specific Dashboard chart then you could ask our Support team via https://support.stripe.com/contact/login and they might be able to give you more info on the underlying logic.
