What is the best way to handle/assign ShippingIDs?
Sorry but this is a bit of a broad question! Is there a specific use case you're trying to account for?
THe guide you are sharing is a good starting point. What limitation were you facing exactly ?

Mostly just the fact that I have multiple shippingIDs (and one product that doesn't get a shippingID at all) and I'm just wondering what the best/cleanest way to handle that is.

The big if/else just feels clunky.

Yeah you'll need to handle that mappings in your integration.

For example, instead of using if/elses track the mapping in a database or a config file.
