We close idle threads, but not for a while. You don't have to do something here every minute or anything. Just checking in every 5–10 minutes is fine.

You can enter whatever for the textfields to enable the Pay Now button which sends a request to stripe.checkout.sessions.create

You don't have the domain added here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_method_domains
You have to add every domain and subdomain there. You don't have the www. version, only the domain without.
