You'd pass the price_xxx ID here, not the prod_xxx ID
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
If I pass price_xxx I will get the coupon textbox too in the UI?
I'm getting:
{
"detail": "Request req_zkOE6oAiuL49kn: No such price: 'price_1QUU1QE79D92Qyhe6LJllPr1'; a similar object exists in live mode, but a test mode key was used to make this request."
}
The error seems self explanatory right?
Not exactly, I'm reading it few times..
I want to run it in testmode, before moving it too production.
Your API request used your test keys, but the object (price_1QUU1QE79D92Qyhe6LJllPr1) exists in live mode
You need to create the products/prices in test mode
how in the api I control switch from test mode to live mode and viceversa?
It's determined by the API keys used to make the request (sk_live_abc, sk_test_xyz) in your code
Got it!
