In order to block cards of a specific type, we recommend following this guide: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/build-a-two-step-confirmation

Essentially you'd use the PaymentElement to first collect payment details and create a PaymentMethod, then inspect the PaymentMethod details to determine whether to proceed with PaymentIntent creation or prompt the customer to provide new payment details
