Hi 👋

Can you explain the specific conditions where you see this error?

Hi, I see this error when I put an expired year in the PaymentElement's Expiration date input.

tiny talon
#

Okay and isn't that expected?

molten sage
#

The error is expected, but the content of the error has changed, isn't it ?

#

Before, it was "L'année d'expiration de votre carte est passée."

#

And now, it's "L'année d'expiration de votre carte est dans le passé."

#

I just wanted to know if the change in the error content was intentional. If so, would it be possible to handle the error on our side in order to modify it?

Okay it looks like the specific language was updated recently.

molten sage
#

Okay, so it was intentional. Would it be possible to handle the error on our side in order to modify it?

#

Else, it's not a problem, I will tell that's not possible.

Not within Stripe.js, no. We do not allow programmatic control of the elements inside the UI.

Ok, thanks for the help !

Have a nice day !
