๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1326545114020970546

Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. We help many users simultaneously, so a summary allows us to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ jumping in as my teammate needs to step away soon. I'd suggest adjusting your code that you use to create Subscriptions to include a two-week trial period, as shown in the guide my teammate linked to, for as long as you'd like to do that.

but will that work for current users too?

#

sorry, i meant the reverse

#

for new users coming in

Can you elaborate? Are you using our SDKs to create Subscriptions for your new users? If so, then changes you make to your code to create those Subscriptions should apply for newly created Subscriptions that are created from that code.

#

we are using the api on the backend and elements on the frontend

#

currently, we give all users a free account as they sign up, but we wont to instead give everyone a free 2 weeks with a different plan, and also add 2 weeks to current users

left imp
#

So you want to adjust your code to add a free trial for new subscriptions, and also make adjustments to existing Subscriptions to add a 2 week trial to all of them?

agile juniper
#

yes

Okay, what have you tried so far, what problems are you running into?

agile juniper
#

sorry, I think we got it from the link ๐Ÿ˜„

but I have another question if you're up for it

#

we onboard stripe connected accounts but they end up going through some rough security checks that don't seem to make any sense for them to have to go through. how are other companies and apps getting past those checks so quickly and easily? things like this ('ll send some images)

#

like... that's questions for us as a business... not for people we are trying to onboard to be digital coaches on our platform

#

I don't know what those questions are, as far as I'm aware they aren't part of our onboarding flow. Where are you seeing those being surfaced?

agile juniper
#

they are for sure form you flow

#

they are part of the security check form here in japan

here is the starting point:
