In our codebase we use .list() however it seems like listPaymentMethods is more appropriate but I want to understand more before changing

Well you can use list and pass the customer parameter and get the same result, I think

But the recommendation is to use the listPaymentMethods method on the Customer resource

Yep thought as much, is there a specific context to use list over listPaymentMethods?

Only really if you're using Treasury APIs
