hi! there are certain combinations not possible ,see https://docs.stripe.com/connect/migrate-to-controller-properties#unsupported-configurations
here the issue is you're saying you want the Express account to pay the processing fees(i.e. Direct Charges) but the platform to be debited for chargebacks/refunds, and that is not something we support today.
if you used controller.fees.payer=application instead(i.e Destination Charges) it would work.
