Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹

Unfortunately I don't think you can select which field inside the Address Element is selected. We don't allow programmatic control of the components inside the Address Element. It doesn't look like we expose a Stripe.js method to do this either.

#

I can raise this as a feature request for the Address Element though!

And, just so I'm clear on the use case and can make a more compelling ticket, the issue you are experiencing is that your form is quite long and just setting the focus on the name field results in the field the customer actually needs to fix being out of view?

yes, Name is on top but if anything is missing on the fields, the fields are out of view on focus. This is the case specifically for erros

Yes I think that use case makes it pretty clear. I will file this feature request now. Unfortunately, I cannot make any guarantees about if/when it would get implemented.

However, you can stay informed about new and upcoming changes to Stripe's APIs and SDKs by signing up for our developer newsletter here: https://docs.stripe.com/upgrades#stay-informed
